The Jurte roof cap XL has been designed specifically to cope with the UK weather, specifically driving horizontal rain which is practicaly unknown in Germany. It's huge and designed to wrap around the top of the Jurte and seal the roof hole completely and not get blown about and in by strong wind and driving rain. This tent cap has been tested in Wales by Degmo and stood up to the Welsh weather so we're confident it can cope with pretty much anything.
The cap consists of 8 segments (as opposed to the normal 7) and these have been extended down by an additional 50cm to ensure that the bottom of the cap is well below the roof hole. Additional eyelets and guys have also been added to keep it firmly in place. Although the cap can still be unwrapped we have been reliably informed that it can be like fighting an unruly sail!
