A-frame or Ridge tents are becoming quite rare these days, and that's a pity as they are simple to erect, easy to transport and will last a long time.
These tents give you a great deal of room and can look quite stunning (check out the Loire for a seriously large ridge tent with real style). If a bell tent is a bit too much 'hippy chic' or festival like for you, then a ridge tent may well be the answer.
